AXSO Connect will move into production in late October 2026, followed by progressive migrations and new horizons in AI, energy and mobility.
In late October 2026, AXSO will reach a new milestone with the production launch of AXSO Connect. The platform brings charging infrastructure operations, mobility and interoperability together to help operators see more clearly, decide faster and act with control.
The production launch will begin a progressive transition. Customer migrations will start in cohorts in November, with preparation tailored to each network, validation before activation and enhanced monitoring after the move.
A platform built to turn signals into action
Operating a large-scale charging network requires more than collecting data. Teams must understand what threatens service, coordinate their work and intervene without losing control of operations.
AXSO Connect connects network status, charging sessions, alerts, incidents, pricing, payments and the mobility experience. The goal is simple: turn scattered signals into faster, more consistent and better documented decisions.
Proven operational experience
AXSO already supports the Electric Circuit, one of North America’s largest public charging networks. Figures published for July 2026 illustrate the scale of this experience:
- 9,127 charging stations deployed;
- 3,328 active sites;
- more than 425,000 charging sessions during the month;
- more than 800 municipalities served.
These figures illustrate AXSO’s operational experience. They do not represent a network already migrated to the new version of AXSO Connect.
Three milestones for 2026
October: Targeting OCPP certification
AXSO is pursuing independent OCPP compliance certification for AXSO Connect. The certified scope, including the covered versions, profiles and functions, will be communicated once the official process is complete.
Beyond the standard itself, the goal is to give operators greater freedom in their hardware choices and reduce uncertainty in multi-vendor environments.
Late October: Production launch
AXSO Connect will establish a common foundation for charging station supervision, sessions, pricing, payments, support, reporting, mobility and partner exchanges.
This milestone will not mark the end of development. It will provide a stable foundation for more frequent delivery, clearer change documentation and closer validation of future capabilities with customers.
From November: Cohort-based migrations
Each transition will be planned according to the customer’s network, hardware, data and operations. AXSO will favour prepared and validated cohorts over a single approach imposed on every customer.
The process will include data and dependency preparation, rehearsal of critical scenarios, validation before activation and a period of enhanced monitoring.
From monitoring to action
Operate with control
AXSO Connect brings station status, sessions, pricing, access and operating indicators into one environment. Teams can coordinate daily work and understand network performance without multiplying tools.
Anticipate incidents
Configurable alerts, event history and related-signal analysis help surface situations that truly threaten service. The product trajectory moves from observation to explanation, and then to recommended preventive interventions.
Orchestrate with control
When confidence is sufficient, AXSO Connect can recommend an intervention, show its expected effects and request approval before execution. Important actions must remain traceable, explainable and reversible.
Operational intelligence defined by the work to be done
Artificial intelligence in AXSO Connect is not designed as an isolated feature. It will be introduced progressively wherever it can remove a specific source of friction:
- Understand: answer using the network context and knowledge the user is authorized to access;
- Diagnose: explain a failed session, anomaly or performance drift;
- Recommend: propose an intervention and make its expected effects visible;
- Act with approval: prepare or execute permitted actions with confirmation and a complete audit trail;
- Take charge: handle eligible support journeys and transfer to a person with all required context.
Permissions, response quality, privacy, traceability and human escalation will determine the pace of each activation.
2027 horizon: orchestrating energy and mobility
Enable charging to support grid flexibility
AXSO plans to study an OpenADR integration that could translate price, demand and reliability signals into measurable charging policies. The challenge will be to balance grid needs, available site capacity and commitments to drivers.
The protocol version, AXSO’s role and any possible certification effort remain to be defined. This initiative is presented as a direction, not a commitment to general availability.
Plan truck charging beyond a single network
ChargeHub and AXSO are developing an open, interoperable reservation platform for electric trucks in collaboration with the Electric Circuit, Nationex and Intelcom. Based on OCPI 2.3, the project is intended to let carriers reserve a charging window aligned with their routes and operations.
This approach goes beyond reserving a single charging station. It is intended to connect fleet systems, navigation tools and multiple charge point operators so that access to energy can be planned as a true logistics operation.
Move forward at the speed of trust
AXSO will clearly distinguish what is in production, in progressive deployment, in experimentation or under consideration. Migrations, automations and new intelligence capabilities will be introduced in stages, with observable results and a human handoff whenever the situation requires it.
